We asked representatives of German subsidiaries in the UK and British subsidiaries in Germany about their business activities in the German-British corridor. The conclusion: following Brexit, bilateral relations have been clouded for longer than some originally suspected. Various hurdles are affecting turnover, profits and future plans. In the German-British Business Outlook 2024, we analyze the survey results of the 173 participating companies as well as the background. In the study, we also show which areas of cooperation are considered particularly promising.

• For more than one in three companies surveyed, turnover and profits fell in 2023 - and 31% expect the figures to fall in 2024 too.
