Who invests in digital assets, what are investors' preferences and how much money do they investment? What growth potential can be identified for crypto exchanges?
These questions are answered by our new study “Digital Assets 2022”, which we have produced in cooperation with BTC-ECHO. More than 2,000 crypto investors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland took part in the survey between October and November 2022. This makes it the biggest study of its kind to date in the DACH region.
The study shows that typological crypto investors are middle-aged, have an above-average education and are in salaried employment. They have invested significant amounts in digital assets and consider the risk of these investments, for the most part, to be somewhat low. Eight out of ten investors plan to invest their money in digital assets in future as well. Also, a majority of the study's participants come from the next generation of heirs, hence there is big potential for rising investment in digital assets. More details can be found in the study.
